When we decided to prepare home cooked meals for our pawkid Muffin, we did a lot of reading and research into what should be included in a well balanced diet. In this article, we will share with you the ingredients of our Salmon Meal and why they are good for your doggo.
Salmon
Salmon is a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, which support the immune system, may decrease inflammation, and can keep your dog's coat looking shiny and healthy.
Broccoli
Broccoli is high in fiber and vitamin C and low in fat. Cauliflower is a good source of fiber, vitamins K, vitamin C, calcium, potassium, and folate. These vitamins support the health of your dog’s vision, blood, liver, muscles, immune system, and more.
Couscous
Couscous contains protein, fiber, selenium, magnesium, and vitamin B6
Goji Berries
Goji berries are filled with vitamin C, and have high levels of calcium and iron
Apple
Apples provide Vitamin A, C and dietary fibre. They are also a good way to keep your dog's teeth clean and helps to freshen their breath!
Nutrient Supplements
Natural nutrient supplements are also added using Egg Shell, Kelp, Flax Seed, Tumeric Powder and Coconut Oil. For more info about the benefits of these supplements, read this.
