How we keep our home environment safe and clean for your pawkids

When we started our home dog care service, we wanted to offer a clean and safe environment for your pawkids.  We know this is critical from our own shocking experience when we were looking for care for Muffin a few years back.

We encountered a few commercial and home options where we wanted to walk out of, the moment we stepped in.  Those places stink and were not well ventilated! Neither were the pawkids allowed to free roam during non activity hours.

So how do we do it?

  1. Fully Fenced Up. We have an outdoor patio that is fully fenced up with galvanised steel wire mesh so pawkids cannot escape by squeezing through the rails.

  2. Exit Barrier. Our main entrance is separated by a gate to prevent pawkids from running out when the door is opened to receive a guest or deliver.

  3. Protective Separation. We separate pawkids by size and special reasons like medical needs, physical needs, etc.  For example if a female doggo is in heat, she will be diapered and separated from the intact male doggos.

  4. Regular Fumigation. Weekly fumigation and pest control by the estate reduces risk of fleas and tick infestation.

  5. Afterwalk Wipes. We wipe pawkids’ paws and poophole after every walk to reduce amount of dirt being brought into our home

  6. Outdoor Play and Relieve.  Pawkids get to relieve themselves at our big outdoor patio during play or if they can't go for walks due to rain or medical reasons.  We simply clean the area when they are back indoor.

  7. Walks and Pee Pads.  Two walks a day reduce the incidence of pee and poo accidents at home.  There are also pee pads being strategically located to answer the inevitable nature calls at home.

  8. Clean Squad Attitude! We strive to clean pee, poop and vomit as soon as it happens so the doggos do not step on them and spread them around. We also disinfect with F10 SC Ready to Use Veterinary Disinfectant Spray, a hospital grade, non-corrosive, non-toxic, non-irritating and aldehyde free solution that is EPA/APVMA approved.

  9. Daily Steam Mopping. We keep our home clean by steam mopping and vacuuming our floors daily; and we ensure no human food is left within reach of the doggos.

  10. Ventilation. We keep our place bright and fully ventilated with windows opened so our pawkids are not living in darkness nor breathing stale air.

  11. Safe Watch. We keep a watchful eye over our doggos’ movements and would alert and consult their pawrents if we notice any physical or behavioral abnormalities.

  12. Vaccinated Only. We accept only pawkids with up to date annual vaccination so as to prevent spread of infectious diseases amongst the doggos.

  13. Weekly Showers. We shower pawkids who are in need of a shower to keep them and the environment clean.

  14. We live here! Our family and dog live in our home so it better be clean and safe enough for us and our beloved muffin!!!

Hope we haven’t missed anything….but in case we do, let us know!
