Why should you feed your doggos chicken meals?

When we decided to prepare home cooked meals for our pawkid Muffin, we did a lot of reading and research into what should be included in a well balanced diet.  In this article, we will share with you the ingredients of our Chicken Meal and why they are good for your doggo.

CHICKEN

Chicken is a great source of protein to feed your dog's energy. It also provides Omega 6 fatty acids that is good for your dog's skin and coat; plus essential amino acids and glucosamine for healthy bones

CHICKEN LIVER

Chicken liver has a large amount of vitamin A, B vitamins, iron, trace minerals, and CoQ10. Vitamin A plays an important role in supporting eye health, and all dogs need high quantities of protein to remain healthy.

BROWN RICE

Brown rice is full of natural fiber that helps a dog's digestion. It is also an excellent source of vitamins and minerals. Specifically, vitamins D and B which are essential to heart health

Cabbage

Cabbage aids in digestion, is good for the skin, and is cancer-fighting.

Apple

Apples provide Vitamin A, C and dietary fibre. They are also a good way to keep your dog's teeth clean and helps to freshen their breath!

Nutrient Supplements

Natural nutrient supplements are also added using Egg Shell, Kelp, Flax Seed, Tumeric Powder and Coconut Oil. For more info about the benefits of these supplements, read this.
