Diapers for male doggos are a great fix for pawrents or home boarders with male doggos that mark around your home.
Here's our referral of 2 diaper types for male doggos that we have used and found to be affordable and fit for purpose.
1. Two-piece diaper
The first type comes in 2 pieces in each pack and is available 2 sizes(S and L) in Daiso in Singapore. It is inexpensive, easy to wear with velcro, and very washable too! We recommend you to use it with a thicker and wider cloth to cover a bigger area and catch all the pee!
For small dogs, use a large one with a piece of cloth. (see photos of malltese model).
Pawkid model : Hash
For medium size dogs, use 2 small ones or a large and small one with a piece of cloth(as illustrated in image below).
For large size dogs, use 2 or more big ones with a piece of cloth.
This diaper may not suit your doggo as the combinations may not fit your doggo's waistline. It is also not suitable for doggos who have a tendency to pull it off as it is not secure enough to withstand that.
One final advice...do change it when it is wet as you do not want your doggo to suffer from urinary tract infection....so check on it regularly(every 2 hours or after your doggo got all excited or anxious over something).
2. Super absorbent diaper with big velcro
This one piece diaper has a super absorbent cloth and can hold more pee than the two-piece diaper. Available in S/M/L sizes, it also has a big velcro that allows you to adjust to a wide range of waistlines. The velcro secures the diaper very well so your doggo can't take it off. It is very convenient for you to bring along to pawdates at pawfriends' homes to prevent any embarrassing pee accidents.
