When we decided to prepare home cooked meals for our pawkid Muffin, we did a lot of reading and research into what should be included in a well balanced diet. In this article, we will share with you the ingredients of our Fish Meal and why they are good for your doggo.
Fish
Fish is a healthy source of protein and is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which according to veterinarians, may have health benefits such as decreasing inflammation. Fish is also a good alternative for dogs with food allergies to more common ingredients, like chicken.
Carrots
Carrots are an excellent source of vitamin A, potassium, and fiber, among other vitamins. Furthermore, chewing on carrots can also help improve your dog’s dental health
Pumpkin
Pumpkin is a fiber-rich food that also contains important vitamins and minerals, such as vitamins A, E, and C, and potassium and iron. It can ease digestion in several way.
Goji Berries
Goji berries are filled with vitamin C, and have high levels of calcium and iron
Apple
Apples provide Vitamin A, C and dietary fibre. They are also a good way to keep your dog's teeth clean and helps to freshen their breath!
Nutrient Supplements
